After finishing 4th in the $25,000 event, the German high-roller went on to scoop the $50K tournament.

The action is hot at the Bahamas, as the PokerStars Carribean Adventure(PCA) is going at full speed. The $25,000 and the $50,000 Single-Day High Rollers both ended, with one of the toughest high-roller regulars walking away with the big money.

First, Rainer marched to the 4th place in the $25K, which earned him $177,380 and he put the money into good use when he decided to enter the $50K High-Roller.

The event generated a total of 29 entries, who created a prize pool of $3,104,640 with $908,100 for the winner. The tournament saw the top of the poker world showing up, but only 9 of them made the money, with Jason Koon busting in 9th place for $90,040.

Billionaire businessman and recreational poker player, Bill Perkins received $117,980 for finishing 8th, while fellow German high-roller, Steffen Sontheimer received.

Sixth-place finisher, Evan Mathis booked his biggest score ever in form of the $192,480 prize and now has about $278K in total live earnings. The UK player started off the year pretty strong, as he only has two tournament scores, the other one coming from the $25,000 Players Championship, where he busted in 35th place for $86,400.

Another high-roller crusher made the final table, Christopher Vogelsang finished 5th for $248,380 and now has almost $20 million in live earnings.

Canada’s Daniel Dvoress also started the year with a good run, he got 4th for $319,780.

Stephen Chidwick continues his sick run, with a 3rd place finish this time, which earned the UK pro $423,780.

Rainer Kempe

Rainer started the heads-up against American Alex Foxen, who has also been crushing in the recent past. Foxen earned $6,632,556 last year, and apparently, he’s not planning on stopping.

However, Foxen had to settle for 2nd this time, when he was unable to win a flip with Ace-queen against Kempe, who limp/called all-in with pocket fours and managed to hold.

Foxen’s runner up finish was good for $651,980, while Kempe took home $908,100 and the trophy.
